- Pre-warm your tea pot and tea cup with hot water
- Use 3/4oz / 2g of Rooibos (typically 1 teaspoon, fine blends measure less, bulky blends more) for each 8oz / 355ml of water
- Rooibos requires room to expand in order to properly steep, we do not recommend tea balls
- The recommended water temperature for Rooibos is 212F / 100C (full boil)
- Steep for 5 minutes, less for fine teas, more for large leaf and rolled teas (refer to instructions on the bag)
- Once steeped, separate leaves from the liquid to avoid over steeping (Rooibos is not as prone to over steeping as Camellia Sinensis tea)
