PU-ERH TEA PREPARATION
Start with a quality, fresh, loose leaf tea and fresh filtered or bottled water, do not use distilled water

- Pre-warm your tea pot and tea cup with hot water
- Use 3/4oz / 2g of tea (typically 1 teaspoon, fine and rolled teas measure less, large leaf and bulky teas more) for each 8oz / 355ml of water
- Loose leaf tea requires room to expand in order to properly steep, we do not recommend tea balls
- The recommended water temperature for Pu-erh tea is 212F / 100C (full boil)
- Briefly rinse the tea with a small amount of hot water
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, less for fine teas, more for large leaf and rolled teas (refer to instructions on the bag)
- Once steeped, separate leaves from the liquid to avoid over steeping
- Pu-erh tea can be re-infused several times, the flavour changing subtly with each infusion
