OOLONG TEA PREPARATION
Start with a quality, fresh, loose leaf tea and fresh filtered or bottled water, do not use distilled water
Loose leaf tea requires room to expand in order to properly steep, we do not recommend the use of tea balls

- Pre-warm your tea pot and tea cup with hot water
- Use 3/4oz / 2g of tea (typically 1 teaspoon, fine and rolled teas measure less, large leaf and bulky teas more) for each 8oz / 355ml of water
- Loose leaf tea requires room to expand in order to properly steep, we do not recommend tea balls
- The recommended water temperature for oolong tea is 180-195F / 82-90C (boil and cool 2 minutes)
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, less for fine teas, more for large leaf and rolled teas (refer to instructions on the bag)
- Once steeped, separate leaves from the liquid to avoid over steeping
